The Paraphernalium

At pinknantucket press we like to try and keep an eye on new developments in the material world. Pieces posted in the “Paraphernalium” will showcase new materials, manufacturing processes and technology, or processes that use existing materials in new ways.

Though developments in the world of materials science are increasingly high-tech (think sodium-ion battery cells, nano-composite magnets, graphene, biopolymers) the simple is also appealing — not least because we have a better chance of understanding how it works.

It’s actually a bit hard to google for things you don’t know exist — so if you’ve come across something of interest, please let us know!

Not everything works out quite as planned
